5. Slaughter for own consumption

Cattle may be slaughtered for own use or own consumption or for cultural or religious purposes, on the following conditions:

 

(1)Cattle must be slaughtered on the same premises where they were kept prior to slaughter and only the meat may be moved to the destination.

 

(2)No meat or animal product obtained from an animal slaughtered for own consumption may be sold to any person.
