5. Recording of CPD Activities

5.1Unless exempted in terms of the conditions as described in Paragraph 3 above, all Registered Professional must record their CPD activities electronically, on their private, password protected profile that can be accessed from SACAP’s website.

 

5.2 Registered Professional must claim CPD points on a continuous basis as they occur during each annual cycle.

 

5.3 Proof of any points obtained, such as a certificate of attendance of Category 1 activities, must be uploaded online.

 

5.4 Registered Professional who are at the end of their renewal cycle must claim all CPD points for the period, before the end of December of the fifth year (i.e., if the date for renewal is 2017, claims must be submitted by 31 December 2016).

 

5.5 Certificates of attendance of Category 1 activities must be uploaded with the claim for the points.

 

5.6 All documentary evidence of CPD points claimed must be retained for a period of five years for auditing purposes.
