88. Limitation of liability

No liability shall attach to the South African Reserve Bank or, either in his or her official or personal capacity, to any member of the board of directors of the said Bank, the Authority or any other officer or employee of the said Bank, including an inspector duly appointed in terms of section 11 or 12 of the South African Reserve Bank Act, 1989 (Act No. 90 of 1989), or to a repayment administrator duly appointed in terms of section 84 of this Act, for any loss sustained by or damage caused to any person as a result of anything done or omitted by such member, the Authority or such other officer or employee in the bona fide performance of any function or duty under this Act.
