(1) | Where the identity of a person who has made a report to the Aviation Safety Investigation Board pursuant to rules made under section 59 is protected by rules referred to in section 61, information that could reasonably be expected to reveal that identity is privileged, and no person must— |
(a) | knowingly communicate it or permit it to be communicated to any person; or |
(b) | be required to produce it or give evidence relating to it in any legal, disciplinary or other proceedings. |
