101.05.22 Flight folio

(1)An owner or operator of a UAS shall ensure that such UA has a flight folio or any other similar document which meets the requirements of and contains the information as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 101.

 

(2) A flight folio referred to in subregulation (1) shall—
(a) be kept up-to-date and maintained in a legible manner; and
(b) be accessible at a concerned RPS at all times during a flight.

 

(3) All entries made in a flight folio shall be made immediately upon completion of the occurrence to which they refer.

 

(4)In the case of maintenance being undertaken on a UA, an entry of such maintenance in a flight folio shall be certified by a person responsible for the such maintenance.

 

(5) Without detracting from the generality of subregulation (1), a holder of an RPC shall—
(a) maintain fuel or charging records to enable the Director to ascertain that, the requirements of regulation 101.05.23 are complied with in respect of each flight under his or her control;
(b) ensure that fuel, charging, and oil records of each flight are entered in a flight folio; and
(c) maintain oil records to enable the Director to ascertain that trends for oil consumption are such that a UA has sufficient oil to complete each flight.
