(1) | A person shall not conduct aviation security training prescribed under this Part, unless such person is holder of a valid instructor certificate issued in terms of this Part. |
(2) | An instructor certificate shall be renewable every 24 months on payment of the annual currency fees prescribed in Part 187. |
(3) | Notwithstanding the provisions of subregulation (1), a holder of an instructor certificate shall not conduct aviation security training if that person has not— |
(a) | conducted at least one certified training in a period of 12 months; and |
(b) | undergone a background check i n a period of 24 months. |
