(1) | Where the pilot-in-command of a helicopter takes action, deemed necessary to ensure the safety of the helicopter, which results in a violation of any regulation of the State in, or over which, the helicopter is being operated, he or she shall comply with the requirements of regulation 91.02.6 and, where possible, cause the event to be marked on the cockpit voice recorder, if fitted. |
(2) | Notwithstanding any requirement to file a report in terms of regulation 91.02.6, the pilot-in-command shall submit a full report of the event to the person responsible for operations within 48 hours after the conclusion of the flight in the manner specified in the operations manual referred to regulation 128.04.2. |
