| (1) | A fee of R 33.67 shall be paid by an aircraft operator in respect of an aircraft passenger departing on an aircraft from an aerodrome within the Republic on a scheduled public air transport flight or as part of a flight to a destination within or outside the territory of the Republic. |
| (2) | A fee referred to in sub-regulation (1) shall be included in the price payable in respect of the air ticket concerned. |
| (3) | A Non-fee-paying passenger is excluded from paying for civil aviation authority passenger safety charge. |
| (4) | A passenger safety charge shall not be collected from a passenger who is in transit in South Africa and does not disembark from an aircraft after such aircraft has landed. |
| 5) | The provisions of sub-regulation (1) do not apply to a supernumerary. |
