(1) | CO2 emissions monitoring methods prescribed in Document SA-CATS shall be considered as eligible, if an aeroplane operator monitors and records its fuel use from international flights, in accordance with an eligible monitoring method as provided for by subregulations (3) and (4). |
(2) | An aeroplane operator shall use the same eligible monitoring method for the compliance period in accordance with an EMP approved by the Director. |
(3) | An aeroplane operator shall comply with the compliance period prescribed in Document SA-CATS 91. |
(4) | The eligibility thresholds, for the use of an eligible monitoring method for the 2019 to 2020 compliance period and the 2021 to 2035 compliance period, shall be as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 91. |
