93.09.7 Continuing airworthiness information

(1)An owner or operator of an aeroplane, of MTOM in excess of 5 700 kg or any helicopter, shall monitor and assess maintenance and operational experience with respect to continuing airworthiness and provide such information as required by the Director using a reporting designed for that purpose by the Director.

 

(2)The Director shall transmit all mandatory continuing airworthiness information reported to him or her in accordance with subregulation (1) to a State of Design of an aircraft that has been issued a South African certificate of airworthiness and operated in terms of this Part.

 

(3)A person referred to in subregulation (1) shall obtain and assess continuing airworthiness information and recommendations issued by an aircraft manufacturer, an organisation responsible for an aircraft type design or by a State of Design, or any additional requirements issued by the Director for each type of aircraft operated under this Part and shall implement resulting actions considered necessary in accordance with a procedure acceptable to the Director.
