Conversion of shares into stock |
1) | A company having a share capital, if so authorised by its articles, may by special resolution convert all or any of its paid-up shares into stock and reconvert such stock into any number of paid-up shares. |
2) | Where a company has converted any of its shares into stock, the provisions of this Act which in terms apply exclusively in respect of shares, shall cease to apply to so much of the share capital as has been so converted. |
