2. Diagnosis

Diagnosis is based on a history of occupational exposure to cotton, flax, hemp or sisal dust; clinical features and work-related symptoms or significant fall in lung function. (> 15% fall in FEV1) across the first shift of the working week.

 

The Medical Officers in the Compensation Office will determine if diagnosis was made according to acceptable medical standards.
