loyalty credit or award

means any—

a)	benefit accruing to a consumer;

b)	right to any goods, service or other benefit granted to a consumer; or

c)	point, credit, token, device or other tangible or intangible thing which, when accumulated in sufficient quantities, entitles the holder to seek, request or assert a claim for any goods, service or other benefit, allocated to a consumer,

in terms of a loyalty programme, irrespective of the name, nature, form or characterisation assigned by that loyalty programme to any such goods, service or other benefit, right or thing;
