These guidelines are not intended to replace or amend regulation 38 of the CPA, which was promulgated by the Minister to regulate standards, procedures and related matters which the NCC has to follow in assessing an applicant for accreditation as a consumer group, but should be used to assist the person or association who is applying for accreditation as a consumer protection group, to prepare and submit the application in an easier and more friendly manner.
