By virtue of the powers vested in me in terms of section 37(1) of the Copyright Act, 1978 (Act No 98 of 1978), I hereby declare that the provisions of the Act shall apply to the countries specified in the Schedule hereto, in which the member countries of the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works and the dates on which they became parties to the said Convention are indicated, in the manner and to the extent as provided in section 37(1) of the said Act.
This notice shall take effect on the date of publication.
