53. Repeal of legislation, and savings

(1)The Road Transportation Act, 1977, is hereby repealed in so far as it is applied in respect of cross-border transport.

 

(2)The Transport Deregulation Act, 1988, with the exception of section 6 is hereby repealed: Provided that any Schedule to that Act continues to be in force as a Schedule of this Act as if it were an agreement entered into under section 2(1).

 

(3)Any unrepealed provisions of the Transport (Co-ordination) Act, 1948 (Act No. 44 of 1948), are hereby repealed.
