6. Disqualifications

No person may be appointed as a member of the Board if that person–

(a)is a minor;
(b)is of unsound mind;
(c)is an unrehabilitated insolvent; or
(d)has been convicted of an offence and sentenced to imprisonment without the option of a fine unless the Minister is of the opinion that the said person is fit to serve as a member of the Board taking into account the nature of the offence and all the relevant circumstances relating to that offence.
