1) | The Chief of the Defence Force may, subject to such conditions as he or she may impose, in writing delegate any power conferred upon him or her in terms of this Act — |
a) | to any member of the Defence Force; |
b) | to any person employed in terms of the Public Service Act, 1994 (Proclamation 103 of 1994), and serving in a post within the Defence Force; and |
c) | with the approval of the Secretary for Defence, to any employee. |
2) | A delegation under subsection (1) does not prevent the Chief of the Defence Force himself or herself from exercising the power in question. |
