Defence Act, 2002 (Act No. 42 of 2002)

A member or employee may only seek an external remedy to address a grievance once he or she has exhausted all his or her internal remedies in the Department, or if the Secretary for Defence or the Chief of the Defence Force has failed to act within the 10 working days contemplated in regulation 5(e).
