| 1) | The Chief of the relevant Service may, with the approval of the Minister, appoint an honorary member of a Reserve Force unit of the Defence Force, or have such an appointment terminated by the Minister. |
| 2) | An honorary member shall not be entitled to-- |
| a) | any privilege or right, or be liable to any duty or obligation, of a Reserve Force member; |
| b) | wear a Defence Force uniform; or |
| c) | any Defence Force medal or decoration. |
| 3) | The number of honorary members shall not exceed 10 in any one unit. |
