29. Assignment and devolution by operation of law

(1) The rights vested in an applicant for the registration of a design or a registered proprietor shall be capable of assignment and of devolution by operation of law.

 

(2) Any condition in a contract of employment which—
(a) requires an employee to assign to his employer a design made by him otherwise than within the course of his employment; or
(b)restricts the right of an employee in a design made by him more than one year after the termination of the contract of employment,

shall be null and void.
