Dividends

54. Dividends to be paid out of profits only

No dividend or bonus shall be payable except out of the profits of the Bank, and no dividend shall carry interest as against the Bank. Dividends may be paid in cash or by the issue of paid-up or partly paid-up shares in the Bank or by the distribution among the members of assets, subject to the provisions of the Act.
