(a) Provincial Roads Maintenance  Grant

 

To supplement provincial investments for preventative, routine, emergency maintenance and road Rehabilitation of provincial road networks; ensure all roads are classified as per Road Infrastructure Strategic Framework of South Africa and the Road Classification and Access Management  guidelines by end of2013/14; and implement and maintain road asset management systems; to supplement provincial projects for the repairs to roads and bridges damaged by a natural disaster as assessed by the National Disaster Management Centre; to improve the state of the coal haulage network.
