48. Functions of curator bonis

(1) Immediately after letters of curatorship have been granted to a curator bonis appointed under this Chapter, the curator bonis shall take into his custody all the property in respect of which he was appointed, as well as any book, record or other document in the possession or custody or under the control of any person referred to in section 44(1)(b) or 46(2)(c) which relates to the said property.

 

(2) Save as is otherwise provided in this Chapter, the provisions of the Administration of Estates Act, 1965 (Act No. 66 of 1965), shall mutatis mutundis apply in respect of a curator bonis appointed under this Chapter.
