| (1) | Any mistake in the certified segment of the voters' roll referred to in section 24, the final list of candidates referred to in section 31, or the final list of independent candidates referred to in section 31F, does not invalidate that voters' roll, that list of candidates, or that list of independent candidates. |

| (2) | An election may not be set aside because of a mistake in the conduct of that election or a failure to comply with this Act, unless the mistake or failure materially affected the result of the election. |
