In this Radio Frequency Spectrum Assignment Plan, terms used will have the same meaning as in the Electronic Communications Act 2005 (no. 36 of 2005); unless the context indicates otherwise:
means the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) which consists of six telecommunications standard development organisations;
means the Electronic Communications Act, 2005 (Act No. 36 of 2005) as amended;
means the Communications Regulators’ Association of Southern Africa (CRASA) Electronic Communications Committee (ECC);
means Demodulation Reference Signal;
means the ECC Recommendation (11)05 - Cross-border coordination for Mobile/Fixed Communications Networks (MFCN) in the frequency band 2500 - 2690 MHz
