Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002 (Act No. 25 of 2002)

Upon application by an authentication service provider, the South African Accreditation Authority must, if the applicant complies with the requirements of the Act and these regulations, accredit the authentication products or services resulting in and used to support an electronic signature, as an advanced electronic signature.
