(1) | An educator may, with the approval of the employer, be paid a non-pensionable allowance as determined by the Minister in respect of the different categories of examination-related work referred to in subregulation (2). |
(2) | For the purpose of this regulation "examination related work" shall mean— |
(a) | setting of a question paper and accompanying memorandum; |
(b) | moderating of a question paper and accompanying memorandum; |
(c) | translation of a question paper and accompanying memorandum; |
(d) | marking of examination scripts and control marking by the chief examiner; |
(e) | moderating of scripts; |
(f) | remarking of examination scripts on appeal; |
(g) | conducting of practical and oral examinations; |
(h) | work done as chief examiner. |
