| (1) | The remuneration, allowances and other terms and conditions of appointment and service benefits of members of the Board must be determined by the Minister in consultation with the Minister of Finance, taking into account— |
| (a) | the role, duties and responsibilities of a member of the Board; |
| (b) | affordability in relation to the responsibilities of the Board; and |
| (c) | the level of expertise and experience required from a member of the Board. |
| (2) | Conditions of appointment may differ in respect of— |
| (a) | the chairperson and other members of the Board; |
| (b) | full-time and part-time members; or |
| (c) | any other appropriate circumstances. |
