27. Appeal against decision in respect of complaint against publication referred to Board

(1) An appeal against a decision by the Board or the classification committee in respect of a complaint received by the Board in terms of section 16(1) of the Act, shall be made on Form BOARD/AP attached as Annexure "K" and submitted to the Appeal Tribunal with proof of payment of the prescribed fee, within 30 days from the date on which the applicant was notified of the decision of the Board.

 

(2) The form contemplated in subregulation (1) shall be signed by the appellant in person or by his or her legal representative and shall be accompanied by a statement from the appellant setting out the detailed grounds for appeal and the relief sought.
