15. Inspection of Financial Statements and Liquidation and Distribution Accounts

(1) A true copy of every financial statement and liquidation and distribution account submitted to the Director in terms of regulation 13 or 14 shall, during normal office hours, lie for inspection, free of charge, by any member of the public at the registered address of the fund-raising organisation, registered branch or holder by which or by whom it was so submitted and at the office of the Director for a period of three months from the date on which it was so submitted.

 

(2) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in subregulation (1) contained, the Director may, in his discretion, allow any person who in his opinion has a substantial interest therein to inspect at his office free of charge any financial statement or liquidation and distribution account at any time within a period of one year of the date referred to in subregulation (1).

 

(3) Any person may obtain from the Director a copy of any financial statement or liquidation and distribution account on prepayment of a fee of R1, which shall be payable by means of uncancelled revenue stamps affixed to his application for such copy.
