5. Persons excluded from membership of Fund

Any person who is employed in the service of the employer, but—

(a)whose remuneration consists solely of fees and allowances, as determined in the rules;
(b)who is employed for a predetermined period, not exceeding the period specified in the rules;
(c)who is employed under a contract providing for payment of a pension or similar benefit from a source other than the Fund or a previous fund or the Temporary Employees Pension Fund or the Associated Institutions Pension Fund; or

(d)is employed under a contract of service which excludes him or her from membership of the Fund,

shall not be eligible for membership of the Fund.
