5. Functions of chancellor

(1)The chancellor is the titular head of the institution.

 

(2)The chancellor, or in his or her absence the person appointed by the interim council or the council as the case may be to act on behalf of the chancellor, presides at all congregations of the institution and, in the name of the institution, confers all degrees and awards all diplomas and certificates.
