Insolvency Act, 1936 (Act No. 24 of 1936)58. Vacation of office of trustee |
A trustee shall vacate his office
(a) | if his estate is sequestrated under this Act; or |
(b) | if an order is issued under the law relating to mental disorders for his reception and detention in an institution, or if he is declared by a competent court to be incapable of managing his own affairs; or |
(c) | if he is convicted of any offence and sentenced to serve any terms of imprisonment without the option of a fine, or if he is convicted (whether in the Republic or elsewhere) of theft, fraud, forgery or uttering a forged document, or perjury. |
