35. Keeping of Records

35.1Every Employer must keep a record containing at least the following information:
35.1.1the Employee's name and occupation;
35.1.2the time worked by each Employee;
35.1.3the remuneration paid to each Employee;
35.1.4the date of birth of any Employee under 18 years of age; and
35.1.5any other prescribed information.

 

35.2A record in terms of sub-clause 35.1 must be kept by the Employer for a period of three years from the date of the last entry in the record.

 

35.3No person may make a false entry in a record maintained in terms of sub clause 35.1 above.

 

35.4An Employer who keeps a record in terms of this clause is not required to keep any other record of time worked and remuneration paid as required by any other employment  law.
