17. Annual Leave

17.1Annual leave cycle means the period of 12 months employed with the same Employer, immediately following:
17.1.1an Employee's commencement of employment; or
17.1.2the completion of that Employee's prior leave cycle.

 

17.2An Employer must grant an Employee at least 21 consecutive days of annual leave, on full remuneration, in respect of each annual leave cycle. This means:
17.2.115 working days for Employees working a 5 day week.
17.2.218 working days for Employees working a 6 day week.

 

17.3An Employer may reduce an Employee's entitlement to annual leave by the number of days of occasional leave on full remuneration granted to the Employee at the Employee's request in that leave cycle.
