16.1 | During an employees first year of service the employee shall be entitled to four consecutive month's unpaid maternity leave. |
16.2 | After completion of one years uninterrupted service with an employer, employees shall be entitled to up to 6 month's maternity leave, of which 3 months will be paid at one third the employee's basic wage and 3 months unpaid.4 |
4 Employers will assist pregnant employees with claiming UIF from the Department of Labour
