7. Council Expenses

7.1. From 1 July 2025 - R4-70 per week for parties and for non parties with effect from 1 July 2025 as per Notice R.3666 of 14 July 2023 under Government gazette 48959.

 

From 1 July 2026 - R4-95 per week

and pay the total sum to the Secretary of the Council in the prescribed form by no later than the 10th day of each month.

 

7.2Every employer shall pay a Council Levy as follows:

From 1 July 2025 – R6-45 per week for parties and for non parties with effect from 1 July 2025 as per Notice R.3666 of 14 July 2023 under Government gazette 48959.

 

From 1 July 2026 - R6-80 per week

and pay the total sum to the Secretary of the Council in the prescribed form by no later than the 10th day of each month.

 

7.3The Council shall be entitled to recover from an employer all monies in respect of legal fees as well as other expenses incurred in the recovery of all monies due not paid over to the Secretary of the Council at the appropriate attorney client scale in terms of this Agreement.

 

7.4The Council levy to be increased annually by the across the board wage increase.
