(1) | The Minister may, either in general or in a particular case or in cases of a particular nature, delegate any power conferred upon him or her by or under this Act, except the powers conferred upon him or her by section 41, to any officer of the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform. |

(2) | A delegation under subsection (1) shall not prevent the Minister from exercising the power himself or herself. |
