17. Costs

(1) The arbitrator may—
(a) decide not to make an award as to costs; or
(b) award costs in favour of one party against another party.

 

(2) The arbitrator must take into account the law on costs and the decisions of the Court on the issue.

 

(3) The same tariff of costs that applies to cases in the Court applies to arbitrations.

 

(4) Parties may tax costs in an arbitration under these rules as if they were costs awarded in the Court.
