5. Substances which may be added

Only the following substances may be added to a sacramental beverage, either before, during or after the production of  manufacture thereof:

(a)yeasts and harmless yeast nutrients;
(b)tartaric acid, citric acid and malic acid;
(c)carbon dioxide;
(d)activated charcoal;
(e)sulphur dioxide, potassium meta bisulphite and sodium meta bisulphite;
(f)L-ascorbic acid;
(g)gelatine, tannin, agar-agar, bentonite, filtering asbestos and activated clay;
(h)enzymes;
(i)caramel; and
(j)concentrated must.
(k)cane spirit.
