58. Appeals [22; 27(1)(a)]

(1)An appeal in terms of section 22 of the Act shall—
(a)be in the form of an affidavit;
(b)contain full particulars of the decision or direction against which is appealed;
(c)indicate the grounds on which the appeal is based;
(d)be lodged with the Director-General;
(e)be thus lodged within 90 days after the date on which the appellant concerned has been notified in writing of that decision or direction; and
(f)be accompanied by the prescribed fees.

(2)An appellant and the administering officer or the Authority, as the case may be, shall, when requested thereto in writing by the Director-General, in writing and within the period specified in that request, nominate the persons who in terms of section 22(3)(a)(ii) of the Act shall serve on the appeal Authority concerned.
