19. Staff of Council

(1)The Council may, in addition to the staff appointed or a person under contract under section 8(a) or (c) respectively, request the Director-General of Health to place at the disposal of the Registrar, officers and employees in the public service in terms of section 15(3) of the Public Service Act, 1994 (Proclamation No. 103 of 1994) to assist the Registrar in the performance of his or her functions and duties.

 

(2)The staff of the Council, excluding the officers and employees referred to in subsection (1), shall be paid such remuneration and allowances as the Council may, after consultation with the Minister and with the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, determine from time to time.
