120. Payment of wages on discharge of a seafarer of a South African ship

When a seafarer of a South African ship is discharged, he may or if he has a dispute regarded his wages, he shall be paid his wages, or the balance thereof, in the manner directed by the proper officer, and the owner or master of the ship, as the case may be, shall, in the case of a dispute, not pay the wages of the seafarer, or the balance thereof, in any other manner.
