199. Surrender of expired or cancelled safety convention certificate or local safety certificate

(1)A safety convention certificate or a local safety certificate which has expired or has been cancelled shall on demand be surrendered by the owner or master of the ship to the Authority.

 

(2)If any certificate required to be surrendered under subsection (1) is not surrendered, the Authority may cause the ship to be detained until the certificate is surrendered.
