109. Notifying enforcement orders

(1)As soon as practicable after making or reviewing an enforcement order, the Director-General must cause the maritime industry participant named in the order to be informed of the making of the order, or the decision on the review, as the cage requires.

 

(2)For the purposes of subregulation (1), the Director-General may cause a maritime industry participant to be informed by facsimile or e -mail, or orally.

 

(3)Failure to comply with this regulation does not affect the validity of the order.
