A candidate who has been convicted of bribery in terms of section 314 of the Act or upon whom a penalty for bribery has been imposed under section 324 of the Act shall not be admitted to any examination for a certificate or an endorsement before a period of at least 12 months has elapsed since the date of such conviction or the date of imposition of such penalty, as the case may be.
