39. Record books

(1)Every employer shall maintain a record book, in which he shall enter the full details of—
(a)any accident or dangerous occurrence referred to in section 259(1)(c) of the Act (including the date, names of persons concerned and the nature, if any, of any injuries suffered);
(b)any investigation, complaint or inspection referred to in terms of regulations 36 and 37.

 

(2)The employer shall keep the records specified in subregulation (1) for a period of at least three years, and shall make these records available to the safety committee, and to the Authority upon demand.
