Merchant Shipping Act, 1951 (Act No. 57 of 1951)

The master of a ship must ensure that the charts and publications required by these regulations are, before being used for navigation, correct and up-to-date, based on information that is contained in the current supplements, corrections, notices to mariners or radio navigational warnings.
