(1) | Subject to subregulation (2), vessels to which these regulations apply must comply with the following provisions of the International Regulations: |
Rules 1 to 36; Annexes I to III.
(2) | Nothing in these regulations is to be taken to require compliance by any vessel, which by virtue of Rule 38 of the International Regulations may be exempted from compliance with those Regulations, with any of the provisions of the International Regulations specified in paragraphs (a) to (h) of Rule 38, at any time when, by virtue of that Rule, the vessel may be exempted from that provision. |
